Jess Roth Brisbane family newborn photographer

A bit about me…

My name is Jess. I’ve been blessed with a happy and busy household of boys: hubby Bruce, six-year-old Will, two-year-old Sam, and Mini Dachshunds Apollo & Zeus. My boys keep me entertained and active, so in my downtime I get into nanna-sports like crocheting. Gerty Photography has developed into  a wonderful way to balance indulging my love of photography, and being flexible enough to spend time with my family.

Family love is what portraits are all about! I totally get the sheer exhaustion and overwhelm of those first months with a brand new human. And the crazy busy-ness of the juggling act that comes with kids, work, friends, life. That is why I created a relaxed and inviting studio space. So you can come and rest while I snuggle your baby off to sleep for their very first photos. So your little people can be free to express their fun and exuberant personalities in front of the camera.

Photography is my happy place. It is a magical thing, to be able to stop time.

Have a peek inside the studio…

My studio is located in Holland Park West, but I also travel around Brisbane and South East Queensland.

A bit about you…

You’re living a full and busy life, but looking for the happiness in the little things and enjoying spending time with your people. And you know that it’s worthwhile every now and then to take a moment to stop and savour it all (Mums, I’m talking to you!).

If now is one of those times, I’d love to take some beautiful photos for you. Really, I’d LOVE to. Photos to hang on the wall and make you smile every time you walk past. Pictures to look back on in only a few short months and marvel at how fast they’re growing. Images of this time in your life that is fleeting, but not forgotten.

Please send me some more information.
